No entrance fee is required for U.S. citizens and residents to visit Yosemite National Park on select dates in 2026. (And no reservations are required if you’re staying in a Redwoods In Yosemite cabin inside the park*.)
2026 Fee Free Days include:
- Monday, February 16: President’s Day
- Monday, May 25: Memorial Day
- Sunday, June 14: Flag Day/President Trump’s Birthday
- Friday – Sunday, July 3-5: Independence Day weekend
- Tuesday, August 25: 110th Birthday of the National Park Service
- Thursday, September 17: Constitution Day
- Tuesday, October 27: Theodore Roosevelt’s Birthday
- Wednesday, November 11: Veterans Day
* As of January 13, 2026, no announcements have been made about dates for the Peak Hour Entrance Reservations that Yosemite has required previously. However, in the past, people with a reservation inside the park, including reservations at any of The Redwoods In Yosemite cabins in Wawona, have not needed additional reservations to enter the park.
