Visitors who encounter a bear should keep their distance for safety and respect for themselves and the animal. If visitors see a black bear in undeveloped areas, they should remain at least 50 yards from it. There are 3 miles of trails for walking and jogging (no bikes). Trails are dog-friendly and dogs must be leashed. Picnic areas are available and BBQs will become available when fire restrictions permit. Horses are allowed on marked equestrian trails; riders must wear helmets. Fishing and overnight camping is currently not permitted. Alcohol is also not permitted. The park has handicap-accessible restrooms.
